The IEEM framework was originally developed by Onil Banerjee, Martín Cicowiez, and colleagues at the Inter-American Development Bank. RMGEO Consultants Inc. now leads its continued development as the Dynamic OPEN IEEM+ESM Platform.
The IEEM+ESM platform integrates InVEST® models from the Natural Capital Project at Stanford University for sediment retention, water purification, water regulation, carbon storage, crop pollination, and coastal protection. IEEM-AIR and IEEM-FLOOD are RMGEO’s own modules, building on the INCA framework with methodological advances for air pollution and flood damage.
